With everything that's going on (school, moving, unexpected natural disasters, etc.) I didn't really plan on participating this year because I didn't have a lot of time for a new creation. It occurred to me, though, that I'd created another piece of D-Art when I created a collage of World Diabetes Day pictures for my wall so I figured it would be my contribution.
But then today, in the midst of pages and pages (and pages) of reading and note taking in preparation for the start of classes next week, I decided to take a break to see what I could create. I started thinking about diabetes and I realized that when I think about diabetes now, all I think is this:
You know I'm totally in love when I get shamelessly dorky and mushy. But it's true. I always joked that the D-OC would have to find and approve a man for me. I never dreamed that being a part of the D-OC would actually bring me the most amazing man I've ever met. I'm so lucky and happy that he's mine. Love you babe <3
