After getting a call last Tuesday that my doctor would call with test results… and hearing nothing, I finally spoke to her (briefly) on Thursday afternoon. So, I survived my first week post-op by not wearing pants. *ahem* The surgery itself went well but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t still uncomfortable and having moments of extreme cramping and swelling. The most peaceful place in the world for me is on Cathedral Ledge in New Hampshire. I’m not a climber, but there’s a fenced in lookout on the summit of part of the ledge that you can drive up and then walk to.
